Today
begins our journey,
Each
other we do take,
To
live and love together,
A
vow we’ll never break.
A
covenant we treasure,
A
pact we’ll always share,
Our
promise will last longer,
Than
the jewels that we wear.
For
the ring is but a symbol,
Of
a love that does not end,
A
bond between two people,
We
are lovers, partners, friends.
Years
from now we’ll look,
Back
upon this day,
What
will we remember,
About
our wedding day?
The
rings may loose their luster,
The
dress will surely fade,
But
we’ll always remember,
The
promise that we made.
