It
stands before our window,
For
everyone to see,
It’s
more than tradition,
It’s
our first Christmas tree.
It
glows with our passion,
It’s
decorated with our love,
It
sparkles with our joy,
It’s
blessed by God above.
Beneath
it we’ll put gifts,
But
grand as they may be,
They
will not mean as much,
As
our first Christmas tree.
It
marks our new beginning,
It
dedicates our family’s start,
It
will twinkle on forever,
In
our thankful hearts.
When
I behold it’s glory,
I
think of you and me,
It’s
a symbol of our future,
It’s
our first Christmas tree.
