Will

How do you keep the sun from rising?

How do you make time stand still?

Life has me realizing,

It can be done with will.

Make up your mind,

Make a decision,

Soon you’ll find,

Your conviction.

The first step is a leap of faith,

But it’s a necessary endeavor.

Once you begin you’ll be certain,

Your faith will last forever.

Will you make it,

Will you fail?

If you never leave port,

You will never sail.

Take a stand, make a start,

Your life will begin to fill,

With the fruits of your dreams,

Because you had the will.
