What Are You Thinking

I wonder what your thinking,

What things perplex your mind?

If I could ready your thoughts,

What secrets would I find?

Do you think about the future,

Are you frightened like me?

Is isolation and loneliness,

All you ever see?

Do you wonder if you’ll make it,

Through this life alone?

Does that very lifeless concept,

Chill you to the bone?

I think that I know,

How you really feel,

I pray about these things,

Every night as I kneel.

Take heart you’re not alone,

As you think that you may be,

Life could be much better,

If you’d open up to me?
