Have
you ever felt as like,
You’d
been put into a box,
And
thought you’d be released,
About
never o’clock.
Assigned
the mundane tasks,
You’ve
done so many times,
You
know you could get done,
Even
if you were deaf and blind.
It
seems you have been cast,
Cast
into a mold,
My
friend, just like me,
You’ve
been pigeon-holed.
What
happened to the new things,
The
challenges for your mind?
The
excitement of learning,
Helped
to pass the time.
Do
you watch the clock,
And
dream about the day,
When
you were the one,
The
one to lead the way.
Your
career is lying dormant,
Your
talents growing old,
Your
mind begins to wander,
You’ve
been pigeon-holed.
Now
you’re pushed aside,
And
others get the ball.
Sometimes
it makes you wonder,
Are
you needed at all.
Maybe
it’s time for change,
There’s
challenges to be found,
It’s
time to hit the streets,
Just
start to look around.
If
you’re sick of stagnation,
Then
go for the gold,
Do
not let them ever,
Keep
you pigeon-holed.
