Fear

My mind is full of questions,

My heart is full of fear,

I don’t want to get hurt,

But I long to have you near.

When I lie awake at night,

I think of what might be,

So many new adventures,

Are awaiting you and me.

You said that you are scared,

Well I’m quite frightened too,

We cannot let fear stop us,

This is something we must do.

Fulfillment could be measured,

By the chances that we take,

Opportunities that are missed,

Will a life of regret make.

I will comfort you,

You will comfort me,

Our fears will go away,

Just you wait and see.
